Sources have reported that DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) was found dead in a New York apartment on Friday, August 28th. The details of the death are still unclear, however, sources such as TMZ are reporting that drug paraphanalia was found on site and they are looking into the possibilit yof an overdose.
DJ AM was a well known celebrity dj who performed at a number of high end club events at venues such as PURE, and L.A.X in Las Vegas, as well as many of the top Hollywood nightclubs
New York City police then broke down the door and found DJ AM dead.
Goldstein, along with drummer Travis Barker, survived a small plane crash in South Carolina back in September. Four people died in that incident.
DJ AM and Barker are the only ones who survived the crash.
The details surrounding the death of DJ AM are still unclear, but sources say investigators are looking into the possibility of a drug overdose. He was 36-years-old.
Goldstein was best known for performing at some of Hollywood's most exclusive parties. He was also known for relationships with Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore.
