The PLAZA CLUB is Vancouver's premiere upscale dance club, and has been in operation since the summer of 1999. The building was transformed from a movie theater (The Plaza Theater)into the state of the art nightclub that exists today.
The PLAZA CLUB is a two level, 8000 square foot nightclub complete with top of the line JBL sound system, intelligent lighting system that includes a 3mw argon laser. The main floor features one of Vancouver's largest dance floors, a curved stage, plush enclave booth seating and a unique oval full service bar. The upper mezzanine level extends to three sides and offers a spectacular view of the room. In addition, this area offers an intimate environment complete with ultra-comfortable couches, high back leather armchairs and a full service bar. Perfect for groups of 50 to 100.
The PLAZA CLUB spins a variety of music including House, Top 40, R&B, Hip-Hop, Latin & the hottest Club Hits. Friday & Saturday nights are definitely 'dress to impress' with a strict style code in effect of no sneakers/runners, no ripped/torn jeans, no baseball caps and no athletic wear.
The PLAZA CLUB specializes in event management and execution of special events such as fashion shows, wrap parties, concerts, CD releases, film premieres, corporate events, product launches & fundraisers.
