is it normal that i want to sit down and relax when im listening trance and techno. i dont feel like dancing under it, i feel like going to sleep or sit and relax when i listen to it, is it normal?

Unfortunately, what some people might think as "Techno" is nothing close to the real thing, and I persoanlly find Trance to be too "soft" overall...especially Epic Trance. I do like the hard Tech Trance stuff of Marco V. but overall, Imma House head cuz I think it's the most versatile genre and it was simply meant for dancing. For me, it's Funky, Hard, Tribal and "Deep" pounding Progressive (emphasis on deep!) House that gets me going!
Try these sets from Montreal-Raves.com (aka GlobalSound.ca) and see for yourself!
* DJ Gloor / Tribal Tech-house 2003 mix
* X-Cube - The Hardzone (Hard Tech & Acid Tech) (Good set but first 4 or 5 minutes is totally off the hook!)
- The way this set starts out is slamming! I hope to do the same thing when I spin!

always gets the clubbers in a frenzy with Samuel Jackson's voice in
the background. This is definitely a track that inspires me!!! [Note: Slide the timer to 3:45 (and 6:10) to hear one of the greatest combo beats ever in House music - IMHO].

do you know bout torrent files? there are sooo many torrent sites dedicated to hardhouse/breakbeat/live mix, and its all free. most torrent sites require 192kbps for upload and if they have a decent network of peers, the download speeds are great.

you can also trade torrents with friends with the free software:azureus, bittornado, and bitspirit just to name a few. its not like kazaa or winmx; most of the stuff is brandnew and changes daily... im watching ghost in the shellII right now, all free from torrents
