My Aunt got hers done for free because it caused her so much pain, and it messed up her back from carrying all the weight. You should look into whether or not you can qualify for that...you can get it covered my the gov. if it's a medical issue.

I used to eat that when I had my Russian boyfriend. His grandmother never wanted to go to a restaurant. So it was cabbage rolls, borscht, latkes, caviar (the big gross orange eggies that squish in your mouth)... I used to take some home because she'd pack it up for me to go. My old roomies one day had to tell me that there was really no more room for anymore of the above because we could literally hibernate and wake up to feed everyone for months.

yup, i do it every year.
usually 4 of them.

make sure you inject your thawed turkey with lots of the marinade the day before. they have those bottled flavors or you can make your own. the creole butter one is fantastic.

then that morning, pat the turkey dry with paper towels and do a dry rub of seasoning... you can use whatever you like. the premade cajun seasoning is good, or you can make your own.
i like to use something with a reddish base like paprika or chili powder because it gives the turkey a great colour.

the cooking part is easy, just go very slow when you submerge the turkey and make sure you're not in a sheltered area.
it should only take about 35-40 min per turkey.

Well I gues Skier will just have to be an ass man from now on then too! I let him take a nice ass pic. of me yesteday so hopefully that will help him forget about boobs.
