Los Angeles Naked as a jaybird Posts : 1,754 Club Hopper   Reply   At a popular oceanic location in Hawaii --Laniakea Beach commonly known by visitors as "Turtle Beach" held a memorial for Honey Girl, a sea turtle, that was slaughtered last week. That's sad and horrific in itself, but what really stood out was the one that loved her most. Kauhina, a large male sea turtle, came up shore and laid in front of the memorial -- his eyes fixed on the picture of his dead -Honey Girl. He stayed for hours.*tears welling up* I wonder if sea turtles are one of the rarest species that mate for life. Science discourages "human motivation and emotions" to animals. But this is proof that feelings do exist in animals.
