I have an oppourtunity to purchase a few cars..
however everyone seems to have a diiferent opinion as to which car i should buy. If I make any point about my personal preference i get flipped out on. It comes from all ends pretty much.
here are a few minor details:
car #1) dodge shadow
pros
-Has had one owner its whole life (it is a 1994)
-Only has 117,000KM
-brand new tires
-new breaks
cons
-roof liner is ripped and needs to be re-done
-1000$
-2 door
-weird blue color ( repainted custom that color)
car #2) chevy corsica
pros
-old lad y driven
-2 owners
1000$
-200,000 KM
cons:
-Ugly grey paint
- i hate corsicas
-i dont know if it has had accidents
car$3) chevy cavalier 1993
pros
-nice body
-clean
-rebuilt engine
cons
- i hate the body shape and color
-over 200 000 KM'S
- many owners
So My original plan was to get the dodge shadow for 1000$ just to drive to school for a year since my cousin was going to give it to me on payments.
My boyfriend doesnt like the car and he wants me to get the corsica or the cavalier..but i honestly hate the way those look compared to a shadow.
i need input

my first car was a shadow... i liked it.
about the same year. check the head gasket specifically...
mine would have lasted longer but i was 17 and knew nothing of this thing they calling, "changing the oil"
so i fried the engine.
i'd recommend the shadow

My first car ever was a shadow...i liked it and it lasted a long time.
I just need something cheap on gas to get to the city for scholl everyday. I personally agree that the shadow is the best choice but Tim is being a real dick head about it.
Not that it is his choice at all..fack.

you should actually split on it and make the decision together - good relationship test
but, if he has no intention of paying, or you want to go it alone - then you decide.

I agree with this...but the shadow was only owned by a 50 something lady and shes the ONLY owner ..my cousin got it free when he sold his nissan murano to her..he doesnt need the car they are millionaries..so they offer to me
the only thing wrong is the headliner being ripped..which i can fix with my magiical skillzzz

I say go with the Shadow.

New Breaks, New tires = VERY GOOD.
$1,000 which you are able to pay in instalments INTEREST FREE.
Yeh.. do it.
The rip shouldn't be much of an issue to fix.

they have a service over here where you use your mobile phone to text a phone number of a car you want to buy second hand, and they text you back with it's history including any collisions it has been involved in.
they must have something like that over there
