Well, Today @ 2pm I'm going back to Mr. Periodontist to get my final 2 gum grafts done. I'm not looking forward to this at all. The first one wasn't soo bad. But this time i'm getting 2 done at the same time I really don't know what i'm so scared or worried about. Gawd I hate this shyt.

I've had my wisdom teeth removed...and normally they just suggest an oral cleanser...like a salt water rinse or using a monojet...

probably that is the general case. but in a few, antibiotics are used before any kind of operation in the mouth. recently a young lady died here, because of a bad tooth. If she had taken antibiotics she could have avoided that. I know this is extreme, but protection never harms

lol no - antibiotics are for infections. I won't need such a thing unless insision area gets infected... which if I take care of it properly, it shouldn't.

Good luck! I hate dentists too, I have always been afraid of the drilling sound.
