For those who have witnessed the birth to the recent social lights who continue with its legacy- let us remind you what we’re celebrating this July 3rd with a short history lesson- one that can be confirmed with stories I’ve vowed never to repeat! Ask around and the name will hold up to its reputation. It all began in 1994 inside Club Shelter in Pasadena, CA. Pre-myspace, where paper pushing promoters lined outside the clubs and record holding dj’s had their entourage carrying their crates. Tired of “everydayness”, the intent to bring a Vibe different from your ordinary club formed with resident Musikal talents: Richard Vission, Tony B! and Swedish Egil. Never settling to deprive party goers of Musikal talents, DIVA has featured top notch disc jockeys throughout its career such as unforgettable performance House Anthems by: Byron Stingly, Devone’, Nina Lares, Artie the One Man Party, Inaya Day, Barbara Tucker, Smooth Touch and Rula to name a few. To maintain its Cutting Edge Image, Club DIVA has been proud to showcase Guest DJ’s from around the Globe such as Bad Boy Bill, Armand Van Helden, DJ Vice, Steve Smooth, Dj Roctakon, DJ Echo. It’s the name that transcends through fashion eras and generations. The name that has not only survived for 14 years but has sustained by outliving the rest. Join us in celebrating DIVA’s 14 year Anniversary where “it’s all about the Musik!”
