SO what's the verdict? Did you do the tape? We've made a tape before and watched it afterwards (couple of days later) and it was hot. We want to make a new one soon. Both me and my fience like to take pics, video and watch real porn together though.

I'm mixed on this topic really... i think if you have a strong amount of trust (which i sense you don't with this bf entirely) then it can be healthy sexual expression. On the other hand i do get the willies a bit when i think of something like that floating around, in the future. I think i would want to retain rights to it, keep it in my possession, have the option to delete it, etc so that it was not going to come back to bite me in the ass down the road at some point. I haven't done it yet, i'm not sure i would, unless i feel extremely trusting of the person i'm with. Same with photos.

Meet him halfway tell him you'll do it only if your face isn't in the taping and that you get say in the final cut.

Isn't that a personal decision? What do YOU think? Why in %$#@ does everybody have to ask everybody else their opinion? lmfao Either $hit or get off the pot.

Why? Why do we ask for other's opinions? Mostly because we are uncertain and looking for other takes. If you know what you want it's easy, when you aren't sure for whatever reason, it's harder... Some things i don't ask for opinions at all... others i just want to hear what other people think and it usually helps me identify how i really feel about the matter...

I don't think i will do it, I let one guy take pictures of me once and im afraid that they will show up and break his heart. i love him and i do trust him.. the reason that he asked me was because we spend alot of time away from each other. so im kinda torn on what to do..i go back in august so i need to make up my mind by then..

Cate? Would you walk down the streets of your home town and ask all of the strangers that you might see daily but don't know if you should make a porno movie with your boyfriend? I mean every one of them? Or would you stand on a platform in the middle of a bustling sidewalk and yell it through a bullhorn? Trust me when I say that you really wouldn't want to hear what their opinion would be of you after that. lmfao. (Granted, it's a VERY liberal bunch in here)

No, I can tell you don't care. My question was "would you walk down the streets of your hometown and ask random strangers that question?". Just a question of conscience. I'm not a prude by any means, I'm simply wondering why one would need so much assurance/reassurance from a public forum since it's really an either/or decision. Maybe you should take up reading some Soren Kierkegaard, or maybe not. No need to be sorry by the way.

Don't be, I meant no harm. Soren Kierkegaard was an existential philosopher who wrote a book called Either/Or portraying two life views, one consciously hedonistic, the other based on ethical duty and responsibility. Keep on posting, pay no attention to people who call you down. Remember, "That which does not kill us makes us stronger" (another existentialist, Nietzsche).

I'm inclined to ask exactly what your point is here???? I DO seek opinions here at times exactly because it is a SAFE environment to do so. I am very clear that the decision is solely mine, and mine to make.. that doesn't mean that i do not wonder and want to know how other people feel about similar situations. Sure i would NOT walk down my street and ask every person... so? obviously there is a certain amount of anonmity (fack, i'm slightly buzzed and evidently can't spell that at this moment.. lol), as well as spontaneity (but evidently i CAN spell that one!) when asking others opinions online. You never know what you will get, and you do get quite the mixed bag of opinions, which can be food for thought. Again i say, so?? How is this an issue? I am capable of forming my own opinions, but to think that even YOUR opinions are not affected by those of people around you would be just plain naive. No man is an island, so whether you solicit opinions or believe that you have come up with them completely by yourself, I think it is highly likely that you have been impacted by your world either way.

Honestly, I fail to see how she needs SO much assurance/reassurance, seems to me she merely asked the question and then has read/replied to the responses. Should i stay with the guy i'm with now? Should i pose that question? Will that then make me greatly in need of assurance or reassurance?? I could, i might, i may not... none of it really matters. I may not and may have been better off having had others thoughts on the matter. I could and be swayed in a direction i wouldn't have necessarily gone if i hadn't sought others opinions... really the options are endless... we do what we do. We choose what we choose. How we get to each choice is through any number of routes.. seeking others thoughts i don't believe is particularly harmful unless you are incapable of choosing for yourself and are swayed easily by others...
