DJ LORD HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED FOR YEARS IN THE COMPETITION CIRCUIT AS ONE OF THE BEST TURNTABLISTS IN THE WORLD...HIS UPBRINGING ROLE MODELS IN THE TURNTABLE INDUSTRY INCLUDE CASH MONEY, CHUCK CHILLOUT, Dj SCRATCH, GRAND MASTER FLASH, JAM MASTER JAY, JAZZY JEFF, MARLEY MARL, MIXMASTER ICE, RED ALERT, TAT MONEY & TERMINATOR X. RECOGNIZING THEIR SKILL, LORD SPENT YEARS HONING HIS CRAFT TO RAISE HIS CALIBER AMONGST THESE RENOWNED GREATS. IT IS WITH THE AID OF THESE PERFORMANCES ALONGSIDE NUMEROUS BATTLES, PARTIES AND SHOWCASES THAT DJ LORD GAINED WORLDWIDE RECOGNITION AND ACCEPTANCE AMONGST AN ELITE GROUP OF TURNTABLISTS AND SOON BECAME A HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER COMMODITY. WHILE DJ BATTLES AND HIP HOP HAVE BEEN AT THE FOUNDATION OF HIS CAREER, LORD IS ALSO WIDELY RECOGNIZED IN THE DRUM & BASS ARENA; CAPTIVATING AUDIENCES WITH HIS MESMERIZING FUSION OF DRUM & BASS WITH HIP HOP BREAKS AND BEATS. From the corner to the block, Trill Bass has been putting it down for years. The new dubstep duo of Trill Bass has been around before. Their first release after 8 years in the game, in 2004 on their own label "Pimpstick Records" set the tone. The dirty breaks tune "Ghetto Dope" under the guise of the Pimphand Army, set the path for the hard hitting duo of Swytch and 2Sense forever. Producing hard hitting drum and bass under the name Seratonin, then later teaming up with Eric E and Gyromite under the name Tetradin, Each respectively made their mark on the EDM world.
With collective releases put out ,and scheduled releases on Obscene Recordings, L.A Abstract, Junta Dub, Rottun Recordings, Corinthian Recordings, Pimpstick Records, icare Recordings, Renegade Recordings, Renegade Hardware, Dieselboys Human Imprint, and the mighty Tes La Rok’s Dubstep label NOPPA, the new sound of the Trill Bass is meant to strike hard at the core of the dubstep dancefloor. With originals and collabs with 12th Planet already getting play worldwide from the likes of PLastician, Skream, and Tes La Rok, the movement has begun.
With a new and exciting take on the genre, The Trill Bass has the experience and know how, and have melded together years of experience into a new sound for the dubstep massive. From Bitch slappin thugstep, to the chill atmospheric tunes, there is not much they don’t do. They have collectively spun DJ sets all over North America, from Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, to Vancouver, Seattle, Calgary and many more cities.
