The Saudis were herding sand 100 years ago when they weren't lopping each other's heads off.. wouldn't bother me one little bit for them to be similarly irrelevant 100 years from now.

so they actually get better mileage in the city? Is that due to the battery recharging under braking????

The umm.. 'gross" pics. in my gallery have been viewd a disturbing amount of times.
Especially considering the fact that they have only ever been private photos.

I'm not sure how that works...because if you add up the individual views, it certainly doesn't add up to the total number of views....

thats part of it but the primary reason is that in medium to heavy traffic, the gas engine simply turns off and the car is going 100% on battery. there's sufficient juice for the battery to run 20 - 30 mins, if need be, while the engine is off. There are monitors on the battery that'll make the engine turn back on / recharge as needed but it's not just user friendly.. it's user bypass..
When you punch it, the engine kicks on right away and you scoot along pretty well..
When you're sitting at a red light, the only way you know the car is "on" is because the stereo is playing..

unless each view counts to the aggregate total and for it to be a new view on an individual photo, it has to be a unique view...
that would make sense...
