This subject is pissing me off again.

vent vent vent vent vent.

Last weekend I SUCCESSFULLY got together with one person who I've been playing cat and mouse with for a few weeks.

I also had plans with someone else who keeps canceling on me since... ummmm late June early July OF LAST YEAR.

Weeks ago we planned and both made sure we didn't have plans for this up coming Saturday.

I just e-mailed her to make sure that it was still a "go ahead"

She asked to change it to Sunday (umm hello... it's Mothers day - you have 2 kids... u of all people should know that).

So like I predicted... it will be canceled again.

I really don't know why i'm even bothering. Maybe partially out of determination...and partially out of curiosity as to what's been going on in her life over the past few years (seeing has how I lost contact with her back in 2003).and also because I'd love to meet her kids and see her before I move. We were really close back in Highschool.

So annoying.

Oh well too bad.. It's really going to have to wait now. I will be far to busy for the next 2 months to make any sort of plans... especially plans that are likely to fall though.

I GIVE UP.

I'm very dissapointed.

Especially since I was happy to finally re connect with this person, and now i'm moving so I was really hoping I could spend some time with her before that... Cuz once I'm gone, it will be even harder to make plans when I come back for visits.

Plus... all my friends in Toronto...

I'm thinking it might be nice to start fresh though. But i'll still miss that past history thing that you gain over years with people... Like being able to say.. "OMG... REMEMBER WHEN"

i have good friends from high school that we go through periods of closeness and then drift apart a little depending on what's going on with our lives. i never take offense to it because that's the way we've always done it.

That's not what's really bothering me. I go though cycles like that too.

I think it's more the fact that I keep getting my hopes up with plans that keep getting canceled again and again and again, and every time they get canceled, she keeps asking me when i'm free next to reschedule.

I got smart after the first few times and asked her when SHE is free. But even when she's free something ALWAYS comes up.

I understand people get busy.. Hell i'm busy as hell right now, but i'm still making an effort... I suppose I feel let down because I don't feel like she is making an effort at all and thinks it's okay because we can always reschedule.

It's really a waste of time. I think its probably better if I don't even bother. It's too much work trying to figure out if she'll actually follow though or not.

it will get sorted one way or another, my rents have said they'll go to court for me, the flat agency have said im in the clear, i'll be in Canada thou so might have to do one of those online court internet link up thingys they can do these days.
