FEDDE LE GRAND
Top international deejay and producer FEDDE LE GRAND (www.feddelegrand.com) is currently one of the most in-demand DJ-producers on the planet and producer of 2006’s biggest crossover club smash “Put your hands up for Detroit”.
Having DJed since 1998 and produced since 2001, Fedde’s biggest success came in 2006 in the form of his UK #1 crossover hit “Put your hands up for Detroit”, which was first released by Flamingo Recordings (www.flamingorecordings.com), then by CR2 Records and, finally, Ministry of Sound.
The single “PYHUFD” was hammered by the likes of Roger Sanchez, Deep Dish, Tom Novy and Pete Tong, who described it as his ‘… biggest tune of the summer’. It remains in the UK Top Ten at present and, with Eminem’s Detroit-based hip hop collective D12 ready to release a wicked vocal version of “PYHUFD” in early 2007, there seems no end in sight for 2006’s biggest club track.
