May 28, 2008---. In efforts to help the victims of the recent tornados, Comedy Works will be hosting a benefit show on Wednesday, July 9th. Comedy Works is partnering with local Denver Comics to provide relief to the victims of the tornados that swept through Weld County damaging many homes and businesses.
The benefit will feature Denver based national touring comics including at press time: Phil Palisoul and Bryan Kellen from this season of Last Comic Standing, Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald from the Animal Planets Emergency Vets, Lori Callahan, The KBPI Crop Reports Chuck Roy and many others. All comics have donated their time to help raise money for the victims of the tornados. 100% of proceeds from the show will be donated to The Windsor Community Foundation, which has set up two funds: “Tornado Relief Windsor” assists Windsor residents directly and “Windsor Re-Create Fund” will be utilized to re-create lost park and recreation amenities.
Tickets for July 9th cost $20 and are on-sale now at comedyworks.com, (303) 595-3637, or by visiting the Comedy Works box office 10am-8pm Monday thru Friday. All Shows are 21+ and valid photo ID is required upon entry. Doors will open at 6:45 PM and the show will start at 8:00 PM.
