Mark, aka dj Solitare, has been invlolved in the Vancouver psy trance scene since its early years, having played at the Vancouver Art Gallery, and also dropping a few sets at Madison's. Mark was first exposed to trance in '94 in Tokyo at a Space Tribe party, and moved to London in '96 where he honed his skills and built up his music collection. He went back to Tokyo in '98 (swinging by Vancouver first) before moving permanently to Vancouver in '99. He has played with X-Dream, Stefan Holweck (Total Eclipse/Digital Mystery Tour), Gabriel LeMar (Montauk P/Saafi Brothers), Jez (Laughing Buddha), Nick Taylor (Snake Thing), Masa, Domino, and Psyquest (Mad Stof). A good friend of all the Vancouver psy trance crews, we are excited about Mark once again making Vancouver his home base.
