Marcel Woods: "Musical Madness..."
...what better way to typify Marcel Woods' life? In less than two years, he managed to appear on the main stages of many major dance festivals, such as Sensation Black, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Innercity, Antwerp is Burning and Defqon 1. Clearly, Marcel's tough 'TechTrance' appeals to a very wide audience all over the world.
Woods' first big commercial success as a producer was 'De Bom' in 2001. This track not only took the European charts by storm, but was also a big hit in the USA, China, Korea, Japan, Spain and Mexico. Since then, Marcel has become an established producer who still manages to infuse his records with a strong 'underground' feeling. The fact this has not gone unnoticed is demonstrated by his presence on the play lists of various top DJ’s worldwide, also varied remix-assignments started to drop in since then. For instance he remixed tracks for the "Top 40 act" DJ Sammy, but also for underground guys such as Oliver Klitzing 'Strange Morning In December' (Reeloop, Kaylab) and he even remixed the well known Sensation Anthem for 2002. One of his latest remix assignments is the all-time classic Greece 2000 by Three Drives On A vinyl. Marcel's own latest releases on the ID&T label reach the 1 spot in The Dutch Dance Chart. And since early 2005 Woods will release his productions on "Be Your Self Music" among a small selected group of DJ/Producers such as: Marco V, Rank I, Ronald Van Gelderen, Paul van Dyk (Benelux only), Svenson and Benjamin Bates.
Marcus Schossow:
When Marcus was 15 years old he entered a local dj competition, completely crushing swedens no 1 dj, Marcus was hailed as THE biggest upcoming talents in Sweden. After that Marcus wanted to touch people with his own productions aswell. So he started producing his own tracks. Two years passed of learning the basics of music and in 2003 he signed with uk label 020 Records. After that bookings in Germany, Poland, Denmark and Sweden brought him out from his bedroom and made him a worldwide known Artist.
One day in 2005, Marcus woke up with a melody in his head. ?A little hazy morning? was created and signed to Markus Schulz label Coldharbour Recordings.
