NEW YEARS EVE IN OTTAWA took place on Monday, December 31, 2007 7:30 PM - 2:00 AM
at Crowne Plaza Hotel
in OTTAWA ON. More details on the event are below.
It's the Ottawa tradition that keeps getting better with age! Over the previous seven years New Year's Eve In Ottawa expanded from 125 guests to 250 guests in the penthouse rooms of the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
After selling out in advance every single year, the party is now moving to the ballroom, expanding to accommodate another 200 guests, and adding an outstanding live band! If you are an Ottawa Senators fan you will know Sticks 'n Stones because they rock Marshy's at Scotiabank Place at many home games!
In addition to live music, New Year's Eve In Ottawa features table seating (tables of ten) with a gourmet buffet dinner served at 8:00 PM. Desserts are served about 11:00 PM to provide some extra energy as we dance our way to midnight and into the New Year.
Who attends this event? There is always a great mix of people including teens and seniors, but New Year's Eve In Ottawa always attracts large numbers from the 25-55 crowd. We tend to cater to people who want to have a good meal and a good time, but without a frat party atmosphere. If you enjoy dance music that features guitars, drums, keyboards, and singing then this is the place for you. If you are looking for a barbershop quarter or a good gangsta rap, you won't find it here.
We've got a beautiful ballroom, fun people, an awesome rock and roll band, a great buffet, a big dance floor, and there will be hats, noisemakers, and other jazz at your table. We're out to raise a little bit of money for LiveWorkPlay, a charitable organization that supports people with intellectual disabilities, but we are not out to gouge you in the process, and we work hard to keep our party affordable. Hosting a New Year's Eve event is a big effort, but it is also tremendously fun and we look forward to it every year. Hopefully you will too!
