This signature event sponsored by Steel Productions Inc, Millennia Sound Design Studios, , Tom Lee Music and Long & McQuade is a weekly Vocal Contest that builds a new star!
The first set is an “intimate after dinner set” by Mick Dalla-Vee one of the most popular soloists in B.C. During sets 2 Mick will call up contestants who can sing two songs from his list, accompanied by Mick on guitar, or (if they want to do a song not on Mick’s list, or an original composition) they can have themselves or something else of their own choice accompany them on acoustic guitar.
Contestants will be judged by audience response until the play-off rounds, so bringing your friends will help in the early rounds. Celebrities from several Top Local acts and Media outlets will be invited as celebrity judges during the playoffs.
Each night one vocalist will win a brand new Microphone, at the end of 12 weeks, each microphone winner returns for play-off rounds, in which the grand prize-winner wins a “Free” demo recording package from Millennia Sound Design Studios, Level 1 artist development package and artist representation from Steel Productions Inc. and a very special prize from the “new” North Vancouver Long & McQuade location on Main Street.
