Intimate Productions is proud to bring you Vancouver's premier 3 room New Years party with a different style of music in each room music to satisfy you and all your friends.
One of our most successful shows of 2006 featured the Lawnchair Generals
at the Tokyo Lounge. To make our NYE show a little extra special, we decided to invite them back to ring in the New Year with us!
These
house masters, Peter Christianson and Carlos Mendoza,
will be on the decks downstairs in the Lotus.
This Seattle duo has been getting international acclaim for their consistent stream
of great releases. They are the two of the most sought after house DJs around, as
shown by the packed rooms that occur every time they play here. Don't believe us? Check out these pics from their

Also performing are the duo of Thom Banks (Victoria), who always rocks Soundwave
each year with his brand of tech house and electro, and Mike McSuede who
is a known Vancouver legend, also bringing the techno flavour. Our residents Ollie
Ple, Woodhead and G-rock will also be on duty to deliver a healthy
does of all things funky and house to start off the night.
Meanwhile in Honey, the Mod Club will be bringing you your fix of 60's mod, brit
and indie music.
If you can enjoy a set that includes the Rolling Stones, the White Stripes, Metric,
Blur, the Smiths, Pulp, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, the Clash, Interpol, Depeche Mode,
Suede, Nancy Sinatra, James Brown, Supergrass, and Franz Ferdinand, you'll
find yourself at home in the Honey Lounge - where the Mod Club usually does
its immensely popular Friday nights. The Mod Club turned this usually chill lounge
(aside from our insane Lotus Long Weekends) into a happening rock n roll club. With
its the oversized booths and couches, and "dance anywhere" attitude, you may never
leave this room.
Finally in Lick, get your dose of mash-up, electro and funk. This room will featuring
DJs De Lux vs. Betti Forde; OJ vs. Jimmy Towers; Team Trainwreck
; and Crown Vic. Without a doubt, this room is going to be mental.
OJ, one of Vancouver's top breaks DJs, has also been known to
deliver a killer does of electro, alongside Jimmy Towers (aka
Andy
Clockwork ) who is no stranger to Intimate Productions, and is also one of the
hottest new breaks producers in town. Last NYE, these two blew apart the
Dark Room Café with their tag-team set. Expect it funky 'n chunky.
Team Trainwreck are the twisted trio of Abasi, Dr. Jones and Glyn,
who put the legendary Big Trouble mash-up night @ the Lotus, and got together
by accident at one of our New Year's parties 3 years ago, changing Vancouver once
and for all with their amazing and always eclectic mash-up sets. Also on the decks
will be Intimate's versatile and skilled Crown Vic, who can deliver a dose
of mash-up and breaks like no other.
De Lux is of one the top female DJs in town with her current Friday night
jam @ Lick, and Betti Forde needs no introduction, as her Stacked Tuesdays
@ Celebs has taken Vancouver by the storm, while also being 1/3 of the electro-funk
band "Stink Mitt".
Add some amazing visuals and decore and you have a NYE party that can't be beat.
