Since its start back in early 2005 Comedy Monday Night has seen some of the top headliners from across Canada step on its stage with surprise visits from touring acts of the UK, Australia and the USA popping in to do sets. In 2006 CBC Radio selected Comedy Monday Night as the start of a nation wide recording tour of the new show "So you think you're funny?". The taping was a huge success with the room crammed to capacity.
