There’s no better feeling than giving, especially when it’s for a very special cause. Last Thursday, we hosted a fundraiser to aid the New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation and the Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp. It was a huge success and we personally want to thank everyone who attended and donated money. The good new is, at our “happy hour” party this Thursday July 31st, we will host another very special fundraiser to aid the American Heart Association.
Coronary heart disease is the #1 cause of death in this country, and strokes are the #3 cause of death, and also a leading cause of disability in this country. The mission of the American Heart Association (A.H.A.) is "building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke." A.H.A.'s impact goal is to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease and stroke by 25% by the year 2010. 100% of all donations received this Thursday will benefit the A.H.A. and its efforts. The fundraiser is dedicated to the organizer's grandmother and late father-in-law, and to all who have been touched by the effects of heart disease.
Bar 13 is part lounge, part club, and part oasis. Spanning 3 floors, including an open Roof Deck, Bar 13’s décor and atmosphere are reminiscent of a retro Martini Lounge with a futuristic look. Located 1 block south of Union Square, Bar 13 has been a New York staple for 9 years. Bar 13 is renowned for its delicious cocktails as well as its wide selection of beers and premium liquors.
For this Thursday’s party: We will have “2 for 1” Drinks from 5pm – 7pm on all three floors. We will have $4 Beers and $6 Cosmopolitans from 7pm – 8pm on the first floor. We will have a complimentary Dinner Buffet served from 5pm – 7pm. Ladies will receive Free Admission. Guys will receive Free Admission until 7pm.
In addition, we will have Bottle Specials, such as: Our $300 Grey Goose Special, which will include: All gratuity and tax charges. 1 complimentary bottle of Grey Goose Vodka. Free Admission for up to 5 people. Express entry into the club (no waiting in line).
Our $125 Moet Special, which will include: All gratuity and tax charges. 1 complimentary bottle of Moet champagne. Free Admission for up to 5 people. Express entry into the club (no waiting in line).
DJs GetLive & Nukem will play an eclectic mix of Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, House, Pop, Latin and ‘90s.
Ladies on the Guest List will receive Free Admission. Guys on the Guest List will receive Free Admission until 7pm and pay $5 Reduced Admission afterwards.
