Internationally acclaimed DJ and sonic trendsetter Jr-Flo (junior flow) has his sights set on global musical domination having just completed successful tours of Asia and Canada. His name is already synonymous with the entertainment scene in his native Canada, regularly playing at the country’s hottest nightspots. Flo has played for the likes of Usher, Lebron James, Allen Iverson, Vivica A. Fox, the Wayans brothers and countless other stars from the sports and entertainment world. Before tearing up the hottest clubs from coast to coast, he was tearing up DJ competitions around the world. In 2001, Jr-Flo was crowned the DMC Canadian Champion and the ITF World Champion, the two most prestigious DJ competitions ever. The technical skills he acquired along with the accolades he earned during his battle career make him both rare and refreshing to the club audience. When transitioning to the club scene from the battle circuit, it was NBA superstar Vince Carter who helped introduce Flo to international audiences by making him the resident DJ of his club, Inside, one of the hottest clubs in North America. Once party goers heard his entertaining style and sound, they were blown away. In a short time, Flo has gone on to headline many high profile events and clubs. He’s been the feature of large-scale events such as Steve Nash’s Official Charity All-Star Classic Party, Live to Air spots on Flow 93.5 FM and has played alongside Jazzy Jeff, Kid Capri, A-Trak, Craze, X-ecutioners, The Roots, Talib Kweli, Wyclef Jean, Ice Cube, and De La Soul. Most recently Flo played the Air Canada Center to 15,000 alongside world renowned comedian Russell Peters. Flo has also made television appearances on Much Music, Sportsnets NBA XL and most recently MTV. In addition to his live sets, Flo is also known for his innovative mix cds. His latest mix CD received a glowing review from XXL’s Scratch Magazine (the world’s most internationally recognized DJ Magazine) with a “Certified Dope” stamp behind it. You can catch Flo cutting, juggling, and mixing everything from Retro 80s, Motown, to Crunk, Breaks, Hip Hop, Rock, B-More, Bass, Electro and Reggae. Recently, was picked by the Team Canada Djs to join their expansion roster the "Eh Team Djs." Along with Pump, Hedspin and Illo, Flo has been touring frequently and has begun remixing and producing exclusive "Canadian Club Music" that only the collective plays and has access to, thus creating a unique soundscape around the crew that kills dancefloors. Their sound can be heard when they play live or on the Eh Team's weekly radio show "The Truth" on Toronto's Flow 93.5 FM, Saturdays 9-10pm. In addition to all of this Jr-Flo and cohort Matisse, have also started a seperate "Live Remix Collective" called Keys N Krates, which is proving to be one of the most groundbreaking concepts in music. With Flo on the tables, Matisse on the Keys, and Adam Tune on the drums, the crew remixes existing music and creates new music by replaying and freaking samples right before your eyes. The collective has already toured Canada almost twice over and is now ready for global exposure.
