MELISSA RAE ANNE CD RELEASE LIVE AT THE RAILWAY CLUB JUNE 18TH 2008



Vancouver May 29th 2008 – Rave On Studio and the Deet Street presents Melissa RaeAnne live at the The Railway Club 579 Dunsmuir June 18th, 2008 at 9pm for the release of her CD "HOME SWEET HOME". Join Melissa as she stakes the stage with her full band which includes some of Vancouver's finest musicians, including; Simon Kendall, Ian Cameron, Jerry Wong, Aaron Grant, Aaron Anderson and Dave Hopia. With special guests 'Tony Marriott' and 'Bryan Anderson and the Keys'.


At a scant 23 years of age, Melissa Rae Anne has found fresh insight into the age old country music genus. Side-stepping the the new pop-country, she has gone directly from Hank Sr. to her newly branded genre of "CHICK HICK". With the Passion of Loretta Lynn, lyrics on par with Johnny and June and the voice of an angel, Melissa Rae Anne reaches in a tugs at a string you didn't know you had.


Born and raised in BC's Okanagan Valley, coming from a musical family with a grandfather who played with Johnny Cash, and having been encouraged to write music from a very young age, Melissa’s lyrics and melodies have inspired listeners from the Calgary Stampede to the Merritt Mountain Music Festival.Melissa remains Vancouver’s newest musical sensation and continues to attract the attention of the media and audiences throughout British Columbia.


Rave On Studio, a multi-purpose Recording Studio, opened its doors in 2004 to independent artists, and now encompasses a wide range of services including Voice Over, film score and soundtrack recordings, writing, artist management, CD Cover art and preparation, and full production and tracking services. Run by the team of Chris Doskoch and Jenn Ashton, Rave On Studio combines a high level of creativity with over 30 years of professional player and music industry experience.
