DL Incognito heads up the “Capture the Moment Tour” LIVE IN CONCERT APRIL 13 @ TONIC (919 GRANVILLE STREET)


Juno Nominated MC embarks on a western-Canadian journey sponsored by SCIFEN


Two time JUNO Award nominee, DL Incognito will be headlining The Capture the Moment Tour, in support of the release of his fourth LP, A Captured Moment in Time. He will be supported on this tour by D.O., Malicious and Deezuz. The 11 date trek, which is sponsored by SCIFEN, begins April 10 in North Delta, outside of Vancouver, and will head east wrapping up in Lethbridge, AB.


SCIFEN will be sponsoring this critically acclaimed MC’s current western swing. SCIFEN clothing, label focused on the science of life, has been a supporter of DL Incognito for a few years now. DL Incognito has used his gift for writing, making music and beats, to seek knowledge and a better understanding of the world around him and this where DL Incognito and SCIFEN cross paths, making this a perfect union.


DL Incognito will be accompanied by some of Canada's best new talents in the Hip Hop scene. From setting a Guinness World Record, to performing hundreds of shows and being on the verge of releasing his sophomore album, D.O. aka Defy the Odds is just getting started on making his mark in the music industry. On July 5th, 2003, D.O. made Hip Hop history by establishing the Guinness World Record for World's Longest Freestyle, ever rapping a breathtaking 8 hours and 45 minutes, and never looked back. Now signed to Halflife/EMI, D.O. is currently working on his sophomore album, Stay Driven, due out in spring 2008.


Montreal hip hop royalty Malicious released his first solo album, "Music Starts With M", which, not only put Quebec's burgeoning English rap scene on the map, but also put the fun & diversity back into "the game". His first album brought his skills to the forefront after being known as the "undisputed freestyle king of Montreal". Mr Malish, the MC/Producer member of the legendary "Offsides" outfit, is now working on more solo material as well as projects in the US and Europe.


Also featured on the tour is new Hip Hop artist Deezuz out of Calgary. Be on the look out for the up and coming young MC as he prepares his first solo album Souldenera witch features appearances by Sean Price, Kool G Rap, Buckshot, Joe Scudda, Moka Only, Fatty Down and others.
