Nearly a year and countless gigs after their first meeting at CJLO, DJ's Classi Assi, New Money, and F.U.N.K. are the Moustache Men DJs. Having crossed the country and back, through the prairies, mountains, and untamed wilds of (Air) Canada.
Playing clubs, bars, house parties, and even art shows, the three DJs hold it down at 6 different weekly events throughout the city in venues ranging from small and intimate to big-room style party rocking. Flourishing in Montreal's eclectic music scene requires deep crates and together, The Moustache Men bounce between genres with a unique sound and style.
The result is a bumping dance floor with reputations to match.
New Money, F.U.N.K., and Classi Assi come from different ends of the country, bringing together a broad range of musical perspectives. Between the 3, they combine decades of professional production and DJ experience, and have honed these skills alongside international party-rockers such as Team Canada, Mat the Alien, The Smalltown DJs, and others.

Music has been a part of my life since I was a little man. I grew up listening to all my moms music which consisted of a lot of the great 80's electronic pioneers (Depeche mode, Eurythmics, Lipp's INC, etc). I went through all the genres, from being a banger, hip-hopper then on to house and electronic music. Ever since I first saw people using turntables to make music I knew I wanted to DJ. I started out spinning hip hop and scratching then eventually got into more Electro stuff. In my few short years of spinning in the clubs, I have learned a ton about crowd control, music, and what people want to hear. I am currently working on producing my own tracks with another DJ from Vancouver and hope to have some stuff out by this summer. If you're ever at one of my sets, come say what up. I won't flex the tude' that comes with a few of the DJs out there. I'll prolly buy you a drink....lol.
