:: ABOUT THE ARTISTS :: The Veer Union was formed in late 2004 by vocalist Crispin Earl and guitarist Eric Schraeder.
“Every song we write about is about hope, whether it's about hoping to get the girl back, being in a better place, or not being spiteful or cynical. Veering away from the dark and into the light."
The band put this philosophy in to practice by partnering with the “You Can Be Anything Foundation”, dedicating parts of their relentless US touring schedule to help schools raise money for music programs. “We love to meet our fans,” says Eric. “There is nothing better than sharing our music with these kids live.”
Marc Roots (Roots) on bass, James Fiddler (Fid) on guitar, and Neil Beaton round out THE VEER UNION line up. After nearly two years of endless touring across the continent, the band signed a record deal with Universal/Motown Records and recorded AGAINST THE GRAIN with producer Greg Archilla (Collective Soul, Matchbox 20, Buckcherry) with a couple of tracks produced by Brian Howes (Hinder, Hedley, Daughtry www.theveerunion.com TV Heart Attack - On a diet of David Lynch and sweaty backstage greenrooms the TVHA saga continues with their latest recording ‘Lost in the Sway’. Soul Side In - Having been together for only a year, Soul Side In is already securing their place in Canadian rock.
