The Modern and Donnelly Nightclubs are proud to present the legendary PEANUT BUTTER WOLF’s return to Vancouver.  Founder of the iconic STONES THROW record label, PBW has released music by such artists as J DILLA, MADLIB, J ROCC and may more.  His early classic battle record PEANUT BUTTER BREAKS is still one of the most influential scratch records of all time, helping kickstart the careers of many of turntablisms elite.  For his performance at Republic, Peanut Butter Wolf will be using Serato’s Video SL, with a full visual show to complement his airtight mixing!  Opening things up proper are Stone’s Throw superstar DAM-FUNK and Vancouver’s finest HEDSPIN.  Start the day with the inaugral GASTOWN SHUFFLE around the finest spots in the city’s cultural hotbed and end up at The Modern for some of the best DJs in the biz!

U-Tern is one of those individuals whose passion and drive are
enviable. All that is secondary though: immaculate, charming
disco-funk tracks are the standout here. U-Tern’s use of real
instruments and his exceptional production chops translate into truly
authentic pieces of music striking that balance between nostalgia and
