LuVToucH NOT JUST ANOTHER HOUSE NIGHT!
We are proud to present to the city of Vancouver a new night coming to ginger62 starting May 7th 2009.
We wish to take this moment to thank those of you that have supported us in the past and to let you know about our new home @ ginger62 located 1219 Granville street.
We feel this venue will better accommodate our vision as well as the direction we wish to take the night.
Our promise to YOU is to bring you the very best in DEEP, AFRO, LATIN, SOULFUL and NY HOUSE (all current) with a few classic surprises thrown in for good measure! For those of you familiar with the clubs scenes of LONDON, NEW YORK, PARIS, JAPAN etc.
You are already aware of the quality of music that is delivered to its followers on a weekly basis.
We believe that this feeling has been lost in this city for quite some time and there's a strong desire for many of us to bring it back and have it introduced to those who perhaps haven't had the chance to witness this form of exhilaration!
One of the main differences between the afore mentioned cities and our own is accessibility to a wide range of MUSIC via their radio stations/venues etc therefore our aim is to not only play this music to you in a club atmosphere but also have you take it home with you.
We will be giving away MIXED CD SETS of the most current in NY HOUSE for those that attend so that you can bounce and groove to it at your own pace and leisure!
What we plan to bring to this city is "NOT JUST ANOTHER HOUSE NIGHT" but an uplifting, spiritual journey through the medium of music which we hope will plant a seed for change in a city that is crying out for some much needed SOUL!
In this city where the majority of music in clubs are simply different shades of pop & Top 40 it makes us very aware that our new community and night will grow gradually due to the fact that many club goers just don't know what else is out there in the way of dance music... so it's up to those that KNOW, WANT and DESIRE to see something new and funky in this town to 'SPREAD THE WORD!'
We look forward to seeing some old friends and making some new ones and starting this journey with you in our new home...
