The Kilt & Mini Bash began in 1999 as a wild house party which has since grown into one of 10 Best Annual Events in Seattle.
Attend our Celtic-inspired celebration where all guests must wear either a kilt or mini. In most cases this means men in kilts and women in miniskirts (and often Catholic schoolgirl uniforms). To ensure everyone arrives properly attired we levy a Lame Tax of $100 extra to anyone showing up sans Kilt or Mini - though we've yet to collect because everyone wants to be part of the action!
Featuring live and custom DJ music, special guests, contests and other surprises the Bash attracts participants from across the United States and sponsored by Michael Collins Irish Whiskey, Sierra Mist, Lovers Package, Metromint, Sport Kilt, Hotel Deca and North Channel Kilts.
Bash proceeds benefit Northwest arts nonprofit 4D Theatrics, which is dedicated to providing real world educational opportunities for film and theatre design students studying sound, lighting, costuming and scenic design.
