DJ C-Lektra Bio :
From deep and sexy to hot and heavy electroclash & electrohouse, DJ C-Lektra's beats keep dancefloors bumpin' from Miami to Vancouver and back again. A life-long music lover and collector, C-Lektra was turned onto mixing by her roommate and Internationally renown DJ/Producer, Jask (Thaisoul, Sulfuric) and she hasn't looked back since. With only four years of experience in live DJ performance, C-Lektra has acquired multiple residencies and played at numerous shows. At home in Florida, USA, C-Lektra spun at the legendary Mark Lounge in Miami and held residencies at both Czar Nightclub for Trash Fridays and the Cyberia Lounge for her own night, Euro Thursdays where she started playing electroclash, a genre for which C-lektra gained attention. She now resides in Seattle, Washington where she can be heard weekly at The Chapel Lounge but frequents the Vancouver music scene due to popular demand. She has played at some of the best venues in Van city: Celebrities, Pop Opera, Shine, Sonar, Balthazar, The Majestic, Lick, Anza Club, Unwined, and Open Studios where she played alongside Larry Tee. She has held residencies at the stylish Section 3 in Yaletown and at 1181, the infamous Davie Street hotspot where she created, promoted, and conducted such popular events as T-Dance Sundays, Girl Sundays, and Posh Thursdays. DJ C-Lektra's track selection boasts influence from her roots growing up amongst the vibrant, globally-inclined music scene in Miami, Florida. She is no stranger to uplifting vocal house anthems or the underground European electro genres such as electroclash, synthpop, new wave, grime, and disco. The combination of these unique sounds with deep electro house basslines is signature of DJ C-Lektra's style and versatility.
