Grammy nominated DJ and producer Dirty South will perform at Envy Nightclub at the Ivy Hotel on Friday, Nov. 20. Originally from Europe, Dirty South (aka Dragan Roganovic) moved to Australia where he began mixing mash-ups and bootleg tracks at only 13-years-old. Inspired by artists including Led Zeppelin and the Neptunes, Dirty South has topped the dance music charts with hits such as “Sleazy” and his Grammy-nominated remix of “Sorry” by Kascade. In 2006, Dirty South remixed Evermore’s “It’s Too Late,” which was named “Essential New Tune” by Pete Tong and was nominated for “Best Alternative Dance Release” at Miami’s International Dance Music Awards. Dirty South is one of the most in-demand house music artists with a resume including world tours, music festival performances, a residency at club Pacha in Ibiza and a long list of remixes for artists including Depeche Mode, Snoop Dogg, Roger Sanchez and Ferry Corsten. Envy nightclub is located in the Ivy Hotel at 600 F Street in downtown San Diego. For further information about Envy, visit envysandiego.com or call 619-814-1000.
