On September 26th he will return to the stage for his first feature show of 2009 with his brand new 10 piece band "TableRock". Approaching his second album, Preach brings a new flavor to the stage mixing hip hop with house, dance hall, soca and more, to create a warm, danceable vibe that young and old will appreciate. www.preachankobia.com
TYPECAST is a Montreal-based live hip hop act, blending aspects of funk, jazz, blues and latin vibes with energetic rap lyrics and compelling melodic hooks. The effect is a diverse and original sound that is strangely familiar at the same time. Song topics range from classic hip hop party themes ("Spot to call my own") to goofy rockabilly ("Let the Poppers Pop") to introspective and abstract ("Icarus").
