COCKTAIL WORLD CUP BARTENDER AUDITIONS ARE COMING TO MIAMI
What: The Cocktail World Cup
Tired of your traditional bar competition? Can you make cocktails while bungee jumping, dangling out of a helicopter, darting through rocky canyons in a jet boat or mixing on top of a snow-capped mountain? Do you want to come to New Zealand, where 42 of the top bartenders from around the world compete in these extreme events and bartending challenges?
Who: The Cocktail World Cup is looking for bartenders, 25 and up, to submit their best cocktails. The top contenders will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to New Zealand in September 2007 to compete in this challenge.
All Florida bartenders are welcome to apply and audition
When/Where: June 18th Pawn Shop Lounge from 3pm to 7pm June 19th Skybar at The Shore Club from 6pm to 10pm June 20th Skybar at The Shore Club from 3pm to 7pm
Why: The Cocktail World Cup has become a much-anticipated annual event receiving hundreds of submissions from around the world. Each year, its award winning panel of judges selects 42 bartenders to represent their country and compete in what is now considered to be the Olympics of the cocktail industry.
How: To apply and get more information please visit www.cocktailworldcup.com. Once you complete the online application you will be assigned a time to audition before a panel of judges. The taped audition will require you to mix a cocktail using 42 Below Vodka, we’ll provide you the mixers and basic garnishes. Please supply any additional garnishes your creative cocktail requires. You will be judged on your drink pouring finesse, skill, ingredients, original presentation, and how your creation reflects current cocktail trends in the market and around the world.
