Best
known for his groundbreaking work with electronic trio
Underworld,
DJ Darren Emerson
began mixing records at the age of 14. Originally influenced by
hip-hop, he soon began exploring house music, he joined Underworld
lineup in 1990. Emerson's addition inspired the group's turn towards
techno,
Underworld emerged as one of the leaders of the electronica
movement, scoring their commercial breakthrough with the
Trainspotting soundtrack contribution "Born
Slippy." A noted
remixer, Emerson also retooled tracks from acts including
Björk
and The Chemical
Brothers in
addition to releasing solo collections like 1997's Cream Separates;
he left Underworld in the spring of 2000, releasing the Global
Underground: Uruguay mix soon after.

Nosmo has been a
staple in the US dance community since the early 90s. He began
his career playing breaks and funky house in Seattle then
returned home to Chicago where he was influenced by the deeper
grooves of techno and progressive house.
He’s made a name for
himself as a DJ in the national party scene with his flawless
mixing, energetic performances and versatile musical tastes.
Nosmo has gained international success as a producer with his
group Grayarea, which he parted ways with just this winter. He
is now on tour as a solo DJ, rock the decks from coast to coast. |
Mike Hiratzka is
poised at the brink of becoming an international star in the
dance music industry. He has DJed across the globe in countries
such as England, Hong Kong, Peru and Canada, along with numerous
dates around the US and his new home in Los Angeles. Mike has
showcased his DJ talents on two mix compilations, World In
Progress and Altered States V2, which was selected as one
of the top dance releases of 2001 by the Miami Herald and was
one of Mixer Magazine’s selections for it’s Top 10 ‘Hot List’
for February 2002, receiving an excellent 9 out of 10 review.
Complementing the many accomplishments of his eight-year career
as a professional club DJ, Mike’s studio production work has
garnered support and accolades from almost every top DJ in the
world.
