Firefly's arrival in the former Royal Bank of Scotland HQ sparked a rejuvenation in the financial district's bar and restaurant scene that Leeds had been waiting years for. This glowing creature has been attracting the city's bar butterflies in their swarms, with its plush dark wood and steel surroundings that are reminiscent of a Manhattan speak easy. It attracts an affluent midweek clientele, with a more chilled out collection of beautiful people at the weekend. With two bars split over two levels, the basement bar adopts a clubby vibe with DJs spinning slick grooves whilst also combing one of Leeds' more unique quirks –a beer garden below street level.
