Pete Tong is the Godfather, the Don of DJs. Host of the world's most widely listened to dance radio show for almost 15 years ("the Essential Selection" - every Friday night on BBC's Radio1), record label tycoon (FFRR), yearly resident in Ibiza (Pure Pacha), a TV/film soundtrack producer (The Beach, Human Traffic, and 24 Hour Party People), and now even the subject of an international film hit called "It's All Gone Pete Tong", Pete has done it all and is literally the most powerful man in the dance music business. His consummate involvement in all areas of dance music has made him a celebrity in the UK, and in the past decade he has become increasingly popular around the globe (especially in North America where the popularity of his radio show has soared in every market it has been introduced in). Pete's show can be heard every Saturday night in Edmonton from midnight-2:00am on 91.7FM The Bounce.


A constant champion of new sounds, Pete has been around from the very beginning - "Tongy" played Ibiza long before his pal Paul Oakenfold, and has since toured and played alongside everyone who is anyone from Madonna, Boy George, and the Chemical Brothers to Sasha, Digweed, Carl Cox, and Tiesto.
