SKETCH THURSDAYS TO

CONTINUE NOVEMBER 12^TH

CHICAGO, IL (Oct, 2009) – West Town's vibrant art scene is taking center stage again with the second installment of Sketch Thursdays.  October's debut event was a huge success, with over 50 people enjoying the exclusive night of live art-making.  On Thursday, November 12 at Woman Made Gallery (685 N. Milwaukee Ave.) from 6 pm to 9 pm and continuing thereafter at rotating West Town venues every second Thursday of each month, Sketch Thursday #2 will again feature local emerging artists sketching or painting throughout the night and offering those works for sale at affordable prices.

Organized by the West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce, Sketch Thursdays are geared towards artists, art enthusiasts, and collectors alike. It's the perfect place to start an epic art collection, meet amazing artists, or have a cocktail or two while enjoying artists perform their craft. All artists are welcome to bring their pens, pencils, paper or paint and get creative; however there will be an invited group who has reserved seats each month. All art created on the spot will be posted on the wall and on-sale until close.

Admission to Sketch Thursdays is FREE; however attendees must be 21 and over.
