Canadian Dance Hall of Famer, MC Mario is renowned for his live DJ prowess, for producing and hosting a nationally syndicated radio show, for producing hit dance tracks and for collecting the world's biggest hits for his line of compilation albums. He has sold over 2.5 million albums in Canada and is still counting. Mario was nominated for a Juno Award in the Best Dance Recording category.


MC Mario's nationally syndicated radio shows "The Mixdown" and "The Party Mix" can be heard in 25 cities throughout Canada, the United States, Antigua, Australia, Greece, Cyprus and Brazil.


One may think that he has done it all! But no, MC Mario became co-owner of Club 1234 (www.1234montreal.com) in Montreal, Quebec in 2004. Known for its lifestyle, nightlife and attractive people, Montreal has always been at the forefront of dance music and club culture. During the height of the disco craze, 1234 was open seven nights a week entertaining every celebrity visiting Montreal. It was not uncommon to spot the nightlife icons of those days, such as The Village People, Donna Summer and Grace Jones.


MC Mario also continues to develop his own record label, Tycoon Records, an independent label in Canada distributed by Sony BMG Music Canada.
