It's a light-hearted vinyl&disc free for all as the drinks are served and the beats carry us all away! BSB could not have wished for a better representation of Baltimore's DJs!


Baltimore Stormin' Brainz - Who We Are
When Baltimore Stormin' Brainz formed in the back room at Shortys Nov 2003, we had no idea that one year later it would lead to a citywide connection of nightlife, music, and culture. A year ago there was a troubling hiatus. There were minimal venues, big parties on Wednesdays & small parties on Saturdays, etc. However, there was a bubbling underbelly of extremely talented DJs, performers, loyal devoted fans, and a city waiting to BLOW UP! The rising wave is now taking place. BSB would like to thank all the DJs, promoters, crews, venues, bartenders, and especially the club goers and music lovers. The city has truely transformed over this past year because of everyone's devotion. BSB will continue to support everyone's future endeavors in all ways possible.

The Depot

History, nostalgic energy, and a warm partyhaze emit from the walls at The Depot from having hosted over 20 years of local events and parties. When BSB discovered it, they invited us in with open arms which led to the creation of nights such as "Lucidstep" & "Beat Gallery." The long bar, lounge booths, incredible bartender Michelle, and a 'From the Depths' dancefloor hosts a "Straight out of 70s UK" underground feeling. Real people; modern eclectic and mainstream music; This is "The Place to Be!" This is "Where 'IT' Happens!"
Leave your inhibitions at the door and step into this surreality! Craziness always ensues!

Beyond the fact that this is a groovysmooth celebration for a year of great music and parties... beyond the fact that there's 8 DJs playing music you never knew you loved... there NO Cover charge... Crazy Drink specials and giveaways... besides all that....
This is you chance to come out and make a real connection with people and life. If you don't usually go out, or you're tired of the same thing, this is the time to make it out. There are moments where you are taken aback because you realize for a minute that you are alive. We enjoy making that happen here.
