But Wtf Is "Truckerdisco"?!
Maybe not "disco" as you know it: Italo-disco, nu-disco, forgotten & future favourites, from Giorgio Moroder to James Murphy. Audio oddities, rare grooves, and subverted visuals.

Derek Pavone
DJ Derek Pavone has been listening to and collecting music since the late 70's. While having one ear focused on classic Disco and the other on Tech House, Nu-disco, Indie Dance, Electro, Funk, and Soul, his selections impart a musical narrative that keeps listeners engaged and the dance floor moving.
Larry Levan, Greg Wilson, François Kevorkian, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terje, Horse Meat Disco and Honey Soundsystem are just a few of the many DJs and musicians who inspire his sets.
Derek is a member of Seattle's first all-queer DJ collective "Bottom Forty" - contributed to by the highest caliber of musicians who vehemently stick to their integrity and prowess in musical selections and mixing.
In Seattle, DJ Pavone has worked the decks at Pony, Purr, Eagle, The Cuff, Re-Bar, The Living Room, The Wildrose, Soul Repair, Hard Rock Cafe, Havana, The Islander Yacht, Tommy Gun and The Bus Stop. In San Francisco at Q Bar, Underground SF and Cafe Flore. And In Portland, Oregon at Red Cap Garage and Aalto Lounge. And in Vancouver, BC at Electric Owl.
Derek Pavone's programming reflects an aesthetic that is timeless: he brings the same enthusiasm to championing noteworthy music minted two days ago as he does to uncovering lost classics from earlier eras, and knows how to intermingle all of them in a fluid style that keeps listeners engaged and entertained. His taste is impeccable. He's not only one of my favorite DJs in Seattle, he's one of my favorite DJs period.
