There is much praise and anticipation about the in-demand, recently hailed “Singing Nurse” in Dallas, Texas also known as Shenekia “Neicy” Walker-Vann! Born August 9th, 1982 in Panama City, Florida, this soulful vocalist has always had a passion for utilizing her choral essence on a stage for the rest of the world to experience. That stage has been one of both charity and enchantment. Neicy has engaged her desire of musical philanthropy by becoming both a nurse and advocate for charity with her organization “The Helping Advocates”. How does she incorporate her music; by using her voice as a healing instrument to those in times of distress and as a gift to those who are in need. Her angelic melodies of soul and inspiration have been deemed as healing mechanisms. She has inspired and encouraged others within the music world to use their talents for the uplifting of others. “The more you give, the more you receive” is a familial chant that fuels the drive to sing for a reason.
