Sunset Labs Hopes You're Ready!
It's been a whole Year since we launched the Bassline Warfare series at Sunset Room, and through that time we have hosted a competition every other month featuring the 24 artists You have selected and we've narrowed it down to 6 semi-finalists!!!
Welcome to 'Bassline Warfare’- here’s how it works - essentially, it’s a DJ competition – but with some twists! Tonight's format goes like this:
Battle 1
D-Moa Vs Bang N Danger
Battle 2
Agent Orange Vs Lysergic Barnyard
Battle 3
Tantric Decks Vs Kehx
3-Way Final Battle!!
In the first 3 battles, they’ll each play 30 minutes, then they’ll each play 20 minutes, then they’ll each play 10 minutes!
Then, the winners will advance and will go head-to-head in the Bassline Warfare Championship Round! We’re in the process of collecting some ultra groovy prizes for the winners and we promise they’ll be juicy. That said, the Real prize here is for us on the dance floor, watching these community-selected DJ finalists duke it out in unpredictable matches of awesomeness.
And then the final battle! All 3 finalists will play 15 minute sets back to back, and then the audience will have a chance to decide who the ultimate winner is - and who walks home with the prize!! A little competitive? Yes. A little juvenile perhaps? Probably. A truckload of awesome? Hellz ya. Same old same old? No way.
