Back before Brendan Canning was Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning, he was part of a number of other groups, one of them called… Cookie Duster. (Which is apparently a nickname for a mustache. The more you know, etc.) Canning and his fellow Cookie Dusters (sorry, it’s fun to type out) have come together again for a new album, the first since they released their self-titled debut album over a decade ago. It’s called When Flying Was Easy, and it’s out May 15 via SQE Music.
