George Garcia

The epitome of the modern-day renaissance man in DJ form, for 7-years and over 1,000 gigs, George Garcia has been known to move crowds at a wide array of events with his unmatched ability to cater to the audience. Once a soccer star, this young, Colombian prodigy has received international recognition in the DJ world, playing on the same stage of the industry’s biggest names: Axwell, Alesso, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Pretty Lights, The Roots, Boris, Tim Mason, Morgan Paige, Alex Gaudino, L.A. Riots, and many more. Further, George has supplied entertainment for luminaries and celebrities like president Bill Clinton, Sir Richard Branson, Michael Jordan, Russell Simmons, Marc Cuban, John Legend, Mark Ecko and Alexander Ovechkin.

George enjoys himself behind the booth, and is humbled by the positive responses from his audiences, recognizing that it’s a blessing to call this his job. This facet of his personality resonates throughout all of his energetic performances. In addition, George holds true to his philanthropic values, and is proud to have provided music at charitable events like cancer fundraisers’ Buzzing 4 Change & Colon Cancer Foundation as well as Charity Water, Pencils of Promise and Sow A Seed in Haiti.

George has always been passionate about music, but he has turned his attention and focus to the growing dance music scene, DJing in some of New York’s hottest clubs, including 1oak, Tenjune, Santo’s Party House and East Hampton’s illustrious new club, SL East. George played for thousands of spring break travelers hungry for house music at Bounce Music Festival in Puerta Vallarta this spring, while maintaining residencies and continuing to spin in prestigious clubs in the nation’s capital like Glow at Fur, Lima and Josephine. The sophistication of his live sets grow with his resume, and his ability to blend dance music with hip-hop has given him an edge in the DJing world.
