Chris Buck spent his early days growing up in Ontario and eventually made his way out west. In the year of 2006, Singer/Songwriter Chris Buck dropped everything he was doing and left for Australia to clear his mind. He lived in Perth, Western Australia for a year and a half in which he spent the majority of his time writing and composing music. The CHRIS BUCK BAND ( Jesse, Phil, Seamus and Torban) was formed in Aug 2008 which started as a traditional country sound has now evolved into a groovy reggae/country style. Their first song they ever recorded "Okay" was played on over 38 stations across Canada in it's first 2 weeks in 2009. They are currently in studio working on their new flavorful album "Buck Naked" . They were one of the highlights at the 2011 Merritt Mountain Fest closing out the night for Vince Gill/Dierks Bentley and have also played at Cloverdale Rodeo, Gabby's Country Cabrert (Langley), Boone County, Rockin River Fest (Mission), Cactus Annies (Merritt, opened for Shane Yellowbird), The Rusty Gull, TNB Night Club (Coquitlam), Toby's(Vancouver), The Bourbon (Vancouver) Golden Spike Day (Port Moody) , Rooster's Country Cabret (Pitt Meadows), Norwood Valley Barn Dance (Courtney),Apricot Fest (Lillooet), Ranchman's (Calgary)and other various functions/festivals to name a few!!!. This young band in their mid 20's will definately catch your ear and always, I mean ALWAYS draws a crowd to put on one hell of a show!!! Come see why their 2012 calendar is almost full!!
