Chloe Anne Lloyd is a west coast solo musician, thriving in the small town of Maple Ridge. Chloe brings a fresh sound to the Vancouver scene, a sound that accompanies both the sincerity of Pop folk and the rough edge of blues.
She was born on May 31st 1992, the third of five daughters, to Robert Lloyd and Leslie Pierlot, who were both major influences regarding Chloe’s musical career. The early death of her mother had induced an infinite devout love for artistic expression, the foundation for her substantial musical themes; such as heartbreak, acceptance, self-empowerment, attraction and young love.
Chloe began her career at the age of fifteen, when she gained considerable notice after her brief success on the television show, “The Next Star”. The persuasive influence of public acknowledgement inspired Chloe to pursue formal guitar lessons, with fueled ambition to become a well-rounded musician.
Now, at the age of nineteen, and with over 50 songs to her credit, Chloe has obtained a diploma in “Advanced Music Production” from Nimbus School of Recording Arts, under the prominent mentorship of Garth Richardson, Shawn Cole, and many other top industry professionals. Her time under Nimbus’s educational guidance, and compelling atmosphere, has taught her the importance of professionalism, song structure, relevance of musical contents, and a comprehension to the amount of work involved in such a self-reliant industry. Here, she flourished when her passion was tested. Chloe is currently building a home studio and playing anywhere she can to get the ball rolling for the future release of her first EP.
