DJ Lancia
DJ Lancia is a talented turntablist known and respected for her ability to mix different musical genres in each set . From an early age she was raised on a diet of Funk, Latin, Hip Hop and Disco. When left to her own devices she discovered electro and her love affair with mixing was born. Be it backyard parties to the L.A club scene, DJ Lancia has the ability read her audience and deliver a truly unique performance time after time.
DJ Lancia has landed her residencies and guest appearances at some of Los Angeles premiere nightclubs, such as, West Hollywood Kyss Club (Here Lounge), Dragonfly’s The Push Party, Ladies Touch Entertainment Sabor (Haute aka The Robertson), Thrive Entertainment (Ultra Shore Lounge and Krave Lush Lounge LBC), Rhythm Lounge (Maria Flawless Ent LBC), The Palms Bar (Vanity Affair Entertainment), and Los Angeles Hempcon 2010.
Her recent achievements including winning the 2012 Eden DJ Search Contest and djing' at the 2012 Eden San Francisco Pride Festival. She was also chosen to djing at the 2012 Long Beach Pride Dance tent. DJ Lancia is now the resident dj and owner from Vanity Affair Entertainment, a month party at the Palms Bar in West Hollywood.
Outside of the clubs, DJ Lancia’s incredible energy and talents can be seen and heard on LA’s legendary best rock station, 95.5 KLOS. She has interviewed some of the world’s biggest stars including Morgan Freeman, Slash and Ozzie Osbourne. DJ Lancia has also been chosen to spin and mentor for C5 Los Angeles Youth Organization. C5LA is a five-year youth leadership development program that begins with eighth graders and is designed to inspire high-potential, at-risk youth in Los Angeles to obtain higher education and personal success.
