Neo-Gothic décor infuses the room with elegance, allure and sex appeal; enjoy a luxurious sitting room furnished with a seductive mix of throne-like chairs, settees garbed in Louis XVI-style fabrics, hand-crafted Murano chandeliers dripping with Venetian glass, and a wall-length illustration of a silver birch forest. The Bar’s New Year’s Eve celebration is a chic, black-tie-optional affair. With only 150 guests, this is an exclusive gathering for those who prefer a more intimate experience. Admission provides a 6 hour premium open bar, trays of tasty treats, an all-night DJ, and a glass of champagne as you count down to midnight with a live feed to the Times Square Ball. The Platinum VIP table offers reserved seating and bottle service for groups of 4 or larger. Whatever you choose, at The Bar you can make yourself at home with one of the mixologist’s delicious signature cocktails, and settle into the comfort of a chaise lounge as you prepare to greet 2013 in style.
