End Of The Week
EOW (End of the Weak) was founded in 2000 as one of the few weekly platforms in NYC where hungry MCs could showcase and hone their talent. What started as a small open mic in the back of a restaurant has grown into the longest-running weekly hip-hop show in NYC and an international hip-hop movement. EOW's cutting-edge competition The MC Challenge has changed the face of international hip-hop, offering MCs from around the world an opportunity to compete against each other on a global scale. Over the last 12 years, the MC Challenge has become a world standard for hip-hop competition, active in over 20 cities around the globe. Now in 2012, the World Finals of the MC Challenge hit home, featuring National Champions from Switzerland, Germany, Canada, the US, France, and Sweden competing for the title of 2012 World Champion. See the winner crowned tonight at Highline Ballroom.
