The Buckaroosters were created in 1999 by Dave Keenan and Keith Lowe after 5 weeks on the road with the play 'A closer walk with Patsy Cline'. "We were a bit sick of Patsy and would listen to Buck in the hotel room and realized we wanted to play HIS music." said Keith. After the play ended they put together a band of crack twang-groovers and booked a gig. That was 8 years and a dozen drummers ago. The band plays clubs and concerts around the Seattle area and has a loyal following of Buck-enthusiasts. Leon Berman of KEXP's Shake the Shack calls the Buckaroosters "Seattle's best country band" He might just be right.
